Since no one else noticed. Of course all the Europeans are going to think I'm bragging about having made 5.000 posts!

Well... you are bragging
But hey, I did the same when I hit 1000 because no one else seemed to notice
Then at 2000 I just let it go...
I think at 3000 I'll ignore myself
congrats on all of your posts though!!!

And that does not even count the ZILLIONS of posts on the Jive test site .
Add em up and you are probably WELL over 6,000 .
Tom - you are doing a great job, and we really appreciate everything that you do for the Ranch as well as all your zillions of posts.

I noticed earlier this week, but thought your fellow bartenders/sheriffs would have already made a post on the subject. I mean, they always notice everyone else's milestones. And 5000, that's like one of the biggest milestones which will probably not be duplicated anytime soon (except by automated software like Map v.2 or like the Glass-o-matic hardware which pumps out keystrokes at a phenomenal rate ). I guess the others just don't like you as much as the other moderators here. You're like the odd man out. No one cares about your dedication and contribution to this forum. I have to presume that your fall in popularity is due to the fact that you dumped java at the drop of a hat only to embrace the evil .NET technology like a man-slut on the rebound! So can you blame us for not liking you anymore?
...
Just kidding, congrats on 5000... I'm starting to wonder if there is some 'Thomas Paul java response suite' out there? we're on to you...

Congrats Tom,
still impressed by the new jives (or how its called) saloon.
Of course I am saying that out of my typical "holier than thou"-attitude.

There was an odd sheriff Tom
Who once built our new home
He's also posting like mad
He's never been sad
And that's why all ranchers love Tom!

Congratulations Tom!
Never mind if no one noticed, I guess that's because everyone is busy reading/responding to what you have say, that they fail to notice the number!
Keep going and going and g.....

Fantastic Thomas.
reaching 5,000 posts , most of them of considerable benefit to the readers, is only the tip of the ice-berg, so
thanks not only for the obvious work, the posts, you do around here but also the hidden work, like the possible migration to Jive for instance.
For you, I'll take of my v/d Merwe hat

Darn it Tom, you've done more book reviews than me, made more posts than me...
I'm just glad we're on the same team! Well done, Tom.
