I think if u r going for the current exam, SCWCD Exam Study Kit of Hanumant would be enough for studying for the exam... And do as many mocks as you can... After then, I hope you will be ready for the exam...
But for the upcoming new SCWCD exam, which is based on the J2EE 1.4, studying that book would not be enough for it, because there are many new things added in JSP 2.0 specification... Thus I would recommend you to read some parts of servlet 2.4 and JSP 2.0 specs... And partcipate in forums to share knowledge.... That's all needed for you to pass the new SCWCD exam...

The beta exam for the new SCWCD exam will be launched on Jan 19 till Feb 5. Only the first reply mail to Evelyn, Sun's offcial will be able to sit for that beta exam... So I guess you miss that chance..
Then I guess that the official SCWCD new exam will be launched in March and beyond... For the exam objectives, u have to wait for the official release of the exam and you can find them on Sun website like you might do in SCJP Study...
The difference between the current version and the coming version is that the current version is based on the JSP 1.2 and servlet 2.3 specifications, while the upcoming version will be based on the JSP 2.0 and servlet 2.4 specifications... The main difference will be in JSP part...
I wish you all the best for studying for the new exam....
