First 11 questions are beta questions meant to know your proficiency level on each section as you feel(Expert,Intermediate,Novice,Lay..). They will be used by Sun for analysis and the paper does not seem to be programmed based upon your answers to these questions.
Don't be bogged down by the new Tag ,EL questions at the beginning as the easy ones are ahead. Around first 15 are on tags
Know where the tag files can exist in a war file and where they will not be.
The size of the question is inversely proportional to the complexity.
EL questions were around 20-25.
c ut,c:set, accessing variables of request scope and others, looping and conditionals. nothing was asked on xml,sql or formatting though
Know the sequence of execution of Servlet,Jsp,Custom Tags and Tag handlers.(Drag and Drop questions)
Around 10 questions on Syntax of the elements in web.xml
10 on secutiry (Hanumanth will suffice for this)
10 on Design Patterns
Also look out if the question itself might be improved. As that is also what they are looking for by giving us the beta.
............All the Best folks...Go with Confidence and CRACK IT.........
