Looking to study for the SCWCD 1.4 exam and would like to know if there are any opinions about the these books as study guides.

Welcome to the Ranch, Sean... The two books use different approach in explaining things on the exam... HF SCWCD will surely be in the same style as the greatest HF EJB and HF Java. If you like such taste, then HF series are for you...
But if you usually read technical book and wanna read compact, complete guide, SCWCD Exam Study Kit is for you... And one more thing is that since the name says "Kit", it will be accompanied with the greatest JWebPlus(Special Version) exam simulator... But I'm not sure if there is any software accompanied with HF SCWCD or not...
Actually it depends totally on you, which style you like... I guess HF SCWCD will be thicker than SCWCD Study Kit... Just guessing...
