In a book I read that at the time of JSP execution it will get converted to servlet file and this file will be stored in a folder.

They mentioned that if JSP file is test.jsp then created servlet java file is test$jsp.java.

I am not able to find this file in tomcat folders. Where can I find this?

yamini,

The location of generated servlet is dependent on the J2EE implementation.

In case of Tomcat, you should find it inside the sub-directories under the "work" directory. e.g. "jakarta-tomcat-4.1.24\work\Standalone\localhost\examples\Browser_jsp.java".

Hope this helps.
