Hi,
In my server.xml I have two connector tags with different port numbers. What is the meaning of this? Below is part of my server.xml

Thanks in advance
Yamini.

<Connector port="8080" maxThreads="150" minSpareThreads="25" maxSpareThreads="75" enableLookups="false" redirectPort="8443" acceptCount="100" debug="0" connectionTimeout="20000" disableUploadTimeout="true" />
<Connector port="8009" enableLookups="false" redirectPort="8443" debug="0" protocol="AJP/1.3" />

The first one is the HTTP Connector which implements HTTP protocol and used for servicing client requests.

The second one is AJP Connector element which is used for communicating with a web connector via the AJP i.e Apache Java Protocol. You can use this when you want to integrate Tomcat into an Apache installation so that Apache handles the static content contained in the web application and also may be for utilizing Apache's SSL processing.
