As I remember, let say between 5-8 questions.

I think I understand what you're saying... Don't go over too fast on those subject. Where you preparing for 1.3 and want to pass 1.4 ? I did that... There's few good docs on new features. Good luck !

Hi,

Ok... don't worry, I'm with you.

I'm cannot give you example of questions for several reasons. Because, you likely to have something different from me and I'm not suppose to speak about the content of the exam.

But I can give you some advice, if you don't mind.

First, Rashmi, relax. You will miss some easy questions if you're too worried.

  • You should be able to write EL expressions & Core Tag easily.
  • Be able to understand and write the tag elements of the XML for JSTL
  • Understand the basic for filters, how to declare them with Tag element in the WEB.XML
  • To be able to write TAG file and know the TAG directives

  • I assured you that those subject WILL NOT be as difficult as you think. General questions about web container, thread security are more difficult than those one.
Please look at my new thread (I wrote it after I saw you email, it is named "links for docs"). You should have the necessary info. Look carefully to the Sun article on Core Tag, those example are simple to understand and enough for your objective.

Remember also that your exam will may be ask you more or less question that I had,not talking about the difficulty level that could change also. So, let's say that my post would be 70% accurate for you.

And don't worry for your exam. Take pause, fresh air and take a big walk before the exam with nothing in your mind...

Relax, I'm sure will be celebrating in few hours in the "Sun Certification results" Forum.

    Hi Rashmi !

About exception, usual Servlet exception, nothing to worry. About threads, understanding the context of accessing variables (local, instances variables, class variables) and the security (are they secure to access in a multi-thread env. ?) is more important, but again, not so to worried about.

Understand clearly whose are secure & not secure in a multi-thread and a single thread environment.

    Hope this help !

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
