First, Apache is an Web server, not an Servlet/JSP container, so, you cannot use it to run JSP and Servlets. You must at least use Jakarta Tomcat.

Second, you can, of course, use WSAD or WAS as the application server. However, it involves several configurations. In addition, if you use the book SCWCD Exam Study Kit, or even HF Servlets and JSP, I guess their sample codes are designed to be worked on Tomcat, as it is free.

Anyway, you can use any Servlets/JSPs container to prepare for this exam.
