So here's something to do while you (and I) are still waiting for Amazon and other stores to stock the Head First Servlets book...

We're having a contest to have the javaranchers pick the next cover person for the upcoming Head First Design Patterns book (that will be out in late October, and yes, this time we really mean it--our co-authors Eric and Beth Freeman have been working full-time on the book for the last six months and it's almost done ).

The details and contest are in the Bunkhouse:

Head First Cover contest

You'll have a chance to win one of four books, and the number one winning submission who convinces us which person to use will get their name credited in the book as well.

Have fun!

cheers,
Kathy

I would go for the photo of the girl who has food in her hand.Because "Head First Books" give lot of energy to brain and the food in her tray gives lot of physial energy. So I feel we can have a complete success with the combination of the Head First book and the Food.

Fan of Kathy sierra Books.

I was wondering if any of the other winners have received their prize?

We just had a looonnnng talk with the folks at O'Reilly about prize books. They let some stuff slip thru the cracks, but winners should be getting books VERY soon!

Sorry for the delay

Hey Bert,
Thanks for the update. I've been wanting to read this book, so I look forward to getting it.
