Today is just not my lucky day, I encountered many ejb questions such as home, local interface, env-ref which I didn't expect to appear on exams. Currently I am looking for jobs and I feel the 310-081 certification isn't that much help on my job hunting, so I kind of wonder is it worth to try again, and advice is highly appreciate!

Don't give up. Though you didn't pass, you still learn something in the process of preparing, it comes in handy in the interview. Shiang

Dont give up. Get and read Kathy and Bert's HF EJB. You can pass it for sure next time.

It depends, while EJB is backend stuffs, Servlets and JSPs are in frontend. Both are equally important because our bosses dont know how complicated the backend is, they just see the frontend. Nick

Dont mention the real questions. Only mention the nature of the questions will be better. Nick

I pretty sure that these questions about EJB interfaces and references just about Deployment Descriptor syntax. I believe no EJB knowledge is required to answer them. So, I would recommend to read over web.xml DTD to get some confidence. Personally I feel these "EJB-related" questions just horrible and confuse people a lot regards, MZ

Thank you all for the careness, but right now I don't feel like taking it again until I get a job position. For those who prepare for the exam, the one I have yesterday is quite toup, spend me whole 2:30 hour to do it and review one time. Most question are on EL, EJB(as people mentioned aboved, it's just configuration question, nothing detail to programming), JSP, Design pattern, very few questions on servlet.
