Can you pls tell me whts the basic difference betwn a model and a bean. Since a bean is internally a model class can we use the two interchangeably? . I figured differences out the foll but am not sure :

a. A bean is primarily used in a jsp/EL context but a model is used to take the busi logic out of servlet for reusability in swing apps etc.

b. Since a bean is to be used in EL, it has to have proper getter/setter methods but the same may or may not be present in a model.

Thx JPK
