Objective....
Match design patterns with statements describing potential benefits that accrue from the use of the pattern, for any of the following patterns: Intercepting Filter, Model-View-Controller, Front Controller, Service Locator, Business Delegate, and Transfer Object.

i am always get confuse with MVC and Front Controller
could you please tell me what is the main different between them ?

MVC separates the code into three types of components:

Model - data. Could be EJBs, DAO, etc
View - JSPs, html, etc
Controller - request handling and the glue between the Model and View

Front Controller centralizes all the Controller layer request processing into one component.

Pay attention to the consequences and force of each pattern. You are not required to know the detail deployment, but you do have to know the effect of applying the pattern and why you need them.
