I have recently seen on the Sun UK site that the SCWCD exam has been taken down. Would anyone out there happen to know, by any chance, why that was ans when it will be available in the UK again?
I have just started preparing for it and I hope it doesn�t take too long to become available again.
I'm preparing for the 1.4 exam. Currently there is the 1.3 and 1.4 versions available. I know that on the 15th Dec 2004 the 1.3 version will be discontinued, but the 1.4 version which was available is now not.
Which is strange, I was just wondering if anyone knew when the 1.4 version would be available again as I am perparing for it and hope to take it in January.
(This applies to the UK version of the sun certification web site).

Just tried to schedule 310-081 on prometric.com - it is avaiable, no problems.
I can't purchase it from the sun web site. Therefore I won't be able to schedule it. [ November 22, 2004: Message edited by: James Turner ]

There are a few broken links on the UK site at the moment. I see what you mean about the SCWCD 1.4 page. The upgrade exam link is broken as well and while we are at it SCDJWS (Web Services) still cannot be purchased through the web site either.
You should be able to phone them up and buy the voucher that way. I did that a couple of weeks ago with SCDJWS.
Hi James, Phoneing does work - after a fashion. I've just gone through this polava a couple of days ago. The credit card system at sun uk is out of order at the moment as well. Phone, get them to email the voucher to you & send you an invoice, then pay the invoice when that comes through.
Lets hope we get good marks after all this messing around!
