Hi All!
I am just coming out of SCWCD1.4 exam PASSED!!!

I got 86% ( bit disappointed but hey pass is a pass!)

I am posting this here first so you can know my prep strategy.

Here it is! take it away!

1) Getting to javaranch.com for anything and everything.

2) But ofcourse HSF&J Book! ( Need I say this? ). Thanks to Bert, Kathy and Bryan for such a wonderful book!

3) Did all the free mock exams on the net. Especially jdiscuss.com, which gives SCWCD1.4 exams also(Sometime the site down, that is the bad part!). But you should try older versions also, since there are topics common to old and new versions.

4) Last but not the least referred to JSP and Servlet specs.

Thats all guys.
Sreenath.

Hi Sreenath,
It's Great To Get Such A Good Score.Congratulations.Where You Wrote The Exam ...That Is In India Or Elsewhere.Because In The Forum I Came To Know That ...In India If Any Body Is Writing They Are Getting Problems Related To Drag & Drop Questions(Like Not Working)...Is It True?.
Thanks,
Prasad Pusapati.

Sreenath -

Glad the book helped!

86% is an awesome score on a really hard test.

Congratulation ....I hope I could get this score.
I would like to ask you about the book (HSF&J Book)
Does it cover every thing needed for scwcd 1.4?
Is there any soft copy for this book?
Best Regards

I'm sure there is a soft copy on the authors' PCs (oops...Macs), but I think they'd rather you BOUGHT a copy (he, he)!

I've often wanted a soft copy myself. Not to read (I've got the hard copy), but rather to search. Wouldn't it be handy if instead of making a soft copy of the book available, they'd make an online extensive index available? That way, if you know you saw the word "WayOuter", or "WTF" (ha!), you'd be able to get the page number and go straight to it.
