I hope somebody answers this question. Can TLD files be placed in /WEB-INF or its subdirectory (Is subdirectory of subdirectory possible)....

Is there any limitation in the number of levels it can travers to get TLD file?

Yes, WEB-INF and its subdirectories are fine. I have personally, tried 2 levels. Not sure about any theoretical limitations.

I agree. Here's the link: http://zeroturnaround.com/jrebel - it saves me about five hours per week
