Hi,
Based on the poeple receommendation here, I decided to go for HFS & JSP book. Before placing an order in Amazon, checked out this book at Borders and found no CD comes with it. Just wonderng if could buy an electronic version of the book. That would help me a lot reading at work. Any idea?

Regards

I didn't like the idea of no e-book cd with this book.

Most of the those who are writing this exam have 2 to 5 years of experience and most of them are working. So an e-book will let these people skim through this book when ever they get a chance while working in office.

Hi,
It's right! If we have an e-book it would be very easy to refer when we are at the work. But, we need to look at the other end which is piracy (making copies). Tell me how many people buy it when you get it for free.

Cheers,
Prakash.

If it is a really good book, then we will buy the hard-copy of it even though there is a FREE e-book version.

And that is the reason why I bought the hard-copy of both Thinking-in-C++ and Thinking-in-Java where they can be download at http://www.bruceeckel.com/

It might or might not be true, and no one can say what will happen if there is an e-version. Some people might keep buying the book, while some could print it out directly using office resources.

I believe the authors, or publishers, are just trying to avoid themselves from suffering in such problem.
