It seems that the -classpath option is unable to find the servlet-api.jar file.
I am using
5.0 on XP, I get an invalid flag, so I tried to rename the C:\Tomcat 5.0 I get an access denied window.
Thanx in Advance

The servlet-api.jar is located in 'tomcat_folder\common\lib'. Renaming the tomcat folder might cause issues. Please try to use the original folder name that you used while installing Tomcat.
It is sorta covered in the
JavaRanch Style Guide
subject: cannot compile with -classpath
Unable to compile HelloWorldExample.java file in Tomcat 5.0.28
