This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
I have prepared myself with the Head First book and a couple of mock exams on the net.
I scored 64% on the mock exam in the book, reviewed my mistakes and took the real exam 2 days later and scored 70 %. I'm not thrilled with that result but at least I passed. =)
The questions with design patterns were fairly easy, as were the drag and drop questions. Just make sure that a box appears under the cursor before you drop it.
I got lots and lots of questions on the different elements in the DD so make sure you know all of them.
E.L Questions were easier than expected, scored 100% there =) The hardest part for me were the taglibs and standard actions which I thought I knew pretty good, but some questions there were real tricky!!!
Thanks to everyone in here for valuable information and good luck to those of you who are preparing for the exam!! [ April 11, 2005: Message edited by: Patrik Nilsson ]
