Hi guys,
I am new to Javaranch. Member since 3 weeks. Yester day, I took SCWCD and I got 88%.
I am very thankful to everyone in Javaranch SCWCD forum and Head First authors. The HFS book is excellent.
First I got disappointed since I was expecting a figure on 90's. But thats OK. Thanks everyone..

I started reading SCWCD Guide by Hanumant Deshmukh (Old:310-080). Its a good book, but it do not cover all topics of 1.4. Then 10 days back I got HFS and finished the book twice. The book is too good. I strongly recommend HFS. I had done few free sample SCWCD exams that were mentioned in Javaranch SCWCD links.

Just before going to test , I had done the Mock exam of HFS. I scored 66%. I lost 23 questions. Actually I took that exam very quick without reviewing properly. I am shocked but again, I know that most of them are wrong bcoz I don't know the no.of correct answers. So the formula holds good even in my case HFS+20% is your actual score.

All questions in exam are answerable if you read HFS. But be careful in reading scenarios for applicable Design patterns. I got six questions from design patterns in which 1 was wrong. All the best for future exam takers. Time is verymuch sufficient for the exam.
