Hi Friends,

I am new to this group. Just last month I cleared my SCJP 1.4 with 86 %.
Now I am planning to take SCWCD ASAP. I have some exposure to servlets and JSP. Can someone guide me which book is best for SCWCD which covers all the required areas. Specially I am looking for book which covers objective by objective each area of the SCWCD.

Thanks
Vikas

The "Head First Servlets and JSP - Bryan Basham, Kathy Sierra & Bert Bates" is the most accurate answer to your question!

All the best!

Hi Anand,
Thanks for the response.
I was going thru the contents of the book it looks good.
But I didn't get info like which chapter is covering which objective of the SCWCD? So am I overlooking something or is it correct that the chapters actually didn't give any information about the (scwcd)objective it covers..?
Does it cover all the objective of the scwcd.?

Thanks
Vikas

Hi

You can definitely take the HFS book.It covers all the objectives of SCWCD.Before chapter starts the book gives a set of objectives that are covered in the respective chapter. There is no doubt that the book covers even the minute details that appears in the exam.

All the Best
Thanks
Divya.

You can opt for individual books for JSP (pure JSP book) and Servlet books.
