Given:

Assuming this is a complete JSP file, which line(s) will definitely generate an error?

The answer states that only line 5 will definitely generate an error. But I think it should be lines 4 and 5.

Please can someone enlighten me?

Thanks,

Steve

Hi,
Assuming that the JSP is complete line 4 should give error, because there is no correcponding useBean entry.

Thanks

My thoughts exactly. I tried it out and got the error I was expecting.

I was surprised not to find this in the errata or discussed previously, so it's nice to have a second opinion.

Thanks Narendra!

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
