Hello Ranchers

Today i have cleared SCWCD with 88% of score.Wow,I am really happy with that score. Thanks to all the guys who have been helping me clearing my doubts. With a least preparation of 30 days i really feared a lot to take the exam. But i have no alternate.I have followed HFS book and i did almost all the mock exams available on the net for free.I read the Specs once.

You cant believe it if i say but when i took the mock exam that is in HFS book i only got 63%.With that least score i am afraid a lot before the exam. But i managed to get good score finally by making a thorough review of HFS book again for the third time.I did 61 questions correctly in the exam. The drag and drop questions are really comfortable. There is nothing to worry abt that.As i dont have any experience using Servlets and JSP before i felt that i could have done all the EL questions correctly if i have practiced more examples practically. For anyone who is preparing for SCWCD i really advice to do all the possible examples from the textbook.

The questions on Security and Deployment of Web container are really easy. And even the Patterns is easy but i think u have to read the Sun Blue prints on J2EE patterns. Thanks for the rancher who suggested me this.Last but not least ,before the exam go through all the questions and explanations in the Coffee Crammers of HFS.Thats all guys.Hope this review helps someone.

Thanks
Divya.

Hi divya,
that is a rocking nice score. well done and congrats. You have mentioned that you read specs one time. While reading specs did you try to memorize thing for exam or some other approach you have followed.

have a great time.

Hi

As i am Ok with Servlets and not so good with JSP i myself felt that i should really understand the concepts of JSP.So i read JSP Specs seriously, really to say in the exam point of view. But for Servlets Spec i just gave a reading once.In both cases i tried to prepare my own notes(Sorry i have only hard copy) with the points i felt imp or cant memorize ones.Thats all.

All the Best
Divya.
