Something about Tag.. required="true"

The following tags are placed in a header.tag file..
<%@ attribute name="subTitle" required ="true" rtexprvalue="true"%>

OR

<%@ attribute name="subTitle" required ="true" %>
<%@ tag body-content="tagdependent" %>

The problem is as long as "required" is set to "true", I keep getting the error message (According to the TLD or the tag file, attribute subTitle is mandatory for tag Header)

However, even when I have attribute sent to the tag, I still get this error message. To get the file to work correctly I'll have to set the required to "false".

Please can anyone tell me what I am doing wrongly

Thanks.

try put this line on top of your tag file:

<%@tag isELIgnored="false" %>

Hi,

May I know how you are calling the tag in JSP with attributes. Please place the actual line of code.

Thanks
