This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
I just had a brief look at the contents of the study kit by Hanumanth Deshmuk. My personal opinion is it's going to be very difficult to sustain interest reading that book till the end. I feel it's somewhat dry (particularly if you have read Head first books before), but the coverage is good.
SCWCD Exam Study Kit is a good book. I read its first version. On this forum only I read that the second version is not as good as the first version - the coverage for the new examination is better in HFSJ and it is more interesting reading. I am using HFSJ now.
