This week's book giveaway is in the Agile and other Processes forum. We're giving away four copies of The Mikado Method and have Ola Ellnestam and Daniel Brolund on-line! See this thread for details.
Just coming back from the testing center. The exam was pretty simple after taking the final HFSJ mock exam (I had got 82% in that). For this exam, reading the HFSJ thoroughly should definitely give you more than 90 %. That includes all mock-exam questions (chapter-end + final). I even got one question from one of the HFSJ mock exams.
I sincerely thank the authors of the book. More important than my score to me is the fact that I have learnt a lot from the book.
Now I have a question for the authors regarding the SCBCD exam. I would like to know whether there are any chances for the SCBCD exam to get updated within the next 3-4 months. I am planning to buy the HFEJB book and prepare for that, but I don't want to see the exam get updated in the middle of my studying.
Thanks and good luck to every one...

Hio Sathish,
First off, as a bartender I'd like to ask you to update your display name, thanks!
Second, congrats! Great score on a really hard exam. The SCBCD exam will not be updated anytime soon, I'd say 9 months at the earliest, but if I had to bet I'd say more like 12-15 months.

Hi Chandra and all, Thanks for your wishes. Regarding the exam experience, I would say : 1. There's a lot of time in the exam (unlike the final HFSJ mock exam). If you complete soon, I would advice you to review all your answers carefully. I corrected atleast 2 answers this way. This will help boost your score.
2. In my exam, questions related to tag files and servlet mapping were a little tricky. The rest I thought were pretty straight forward. So, if you read the full HFSJ book (and remember everything :rolleyes and read Bryan's tutorial on dynamic attributes (in this forum), you should be able to get 95 plus.
Thanks, Sathish

Hi Shanthi 2 months team should be just enough if you can spare around 2 hours a day (probably a little more in the week-ends). Just read the HFSJ book fully and make sure you understand and remember everything. And read Bryan's tutorial in Dynamic Attributes in the forum. You can get 90 plus. good luck
