SCWCD Exam

Hi All,

I have just started preparation for SCWCD exam. my problem is i have to finish it off with in october( i have just 1 month).Toady i bought HeadFirst Servlets & Jsp(but it seems one month is not enogh to read this book,coz am working in a company and not to get more that 3 hrs to read daily). i just want to pass this exam for keeping my job safe. can anyone please suggest me the way to do it well.

The book doesn't take very long to read because it's full of pictures and diagrams that take up a lot of the space. I read it in 1.5 weeks of reading on my way to and from work. I'll have to read several chapters again just to make the gazillion different tags stick in my memory but if you do servlets/jsp as your job you should have a far easier time.

I remember that kind of pressure - it's how I passed my SCJP 1.2 exam. (I had a week, though I started with mild familiarity with the language.)

My suggestion, for starters, is to read the book carefully and work through the exercises. You're going to need to take some time also to get some experience with the code, as I've found it always helps to have more than just 'book knowledge' if you're going for the Sun certifications. (Besides, a book-earned certification isn't going to do you much good in the real world, since you won't have the experience to back it up.)

It is possible in a month to get to that point. Just concentrate and do your best.
