Is WhizLabs/JWenPlus Necessary

Hi All!

I am preparing for SCWCD. I am confused whether it is necessary to buy any exam stimulator like JWebPlus or Whizlabs for it. I had cleared SCJP1.4 with 91% and I had only used free mock tests available on Net.
Stimulator costs almost half the cost of exam and I feel in total it becomes a big amount. There are so many certifications to get and one cannot buy one for each one of them.

I would also like to request Whizlabs/JWebPlus team to provide stimulators which provide for a package for bunch of exams like SCJP+SCBCD+SCWCD and they can reduce the no. of mock exams.

Please advise.

Hi,

If you are learning for the exam from the HFSJ book then a lot of people seem to hold, and I agree, that the exam at the end of the book is a good guide to what you will get in the real exam. It appears to hold that if you add between 10 and 20 % to your score for the exam at the end of the book then that is what you will get for the real exam.

So to answer your original qu, No. If you are learning from HFSJ, just use the exam at the end of the book and the coffee cram exams throughout the book.
