Help needed...Package does not exist

Hi,
I am new to Web Component Development. I am using Tomcat 5.0 and J2SDK1.5. When I am compiling the servlet given on page 84 of HFSJ, the compiler is giving the error package com.example.model does not exist. I have checked the directory structure and the same is correct. For compiling I am using the complete path of the classes folder under Beer1.
Please help.

Do u have BeerExpert java file in com.example.model.

Yes BeerExpert java file is in com.example.model
