Hello everybody.
I want to prepare for SCWCD. I am a pretty experienced Java programmer with 4 years in Java and 2 1/2 on Servlets and JSP. I intend to use the HFSJ book and also do a lot of coding projects on web projects (with Eclipse cause Netbeans automates a lot of stuff).
Do you think a month 5-6 h per day will be enough ?

Forget about Eclipse. You should use a non-Java editor, and do everything by yourself. About preparation time, I don't know. Depends on people.

Ok. I guess I will wait for some time because I won't be able to learn the theory right without the HFSJ book. And it will take 2 weeks untill I get it in Romania .
Well my Eclipse with JBossIde kind of forces me to do everything by myself eve n the ant script which will enable me to deploy the application.
Thanks for the tip.
I will start using command-line and mc /emacs(On Suse Linux) directly. At least mc offers syntax highlighting . Is that too much to ask ?
