Well i am glad i cleared the exam with 82%. To tell u i just got 55% in HFSJ. About how the questions were.......i would not say they were very easy and also very tough. you need to read HFSJ 2-3 times.
Which book i studied? i was a Manning man until 2 weeks before the exam. Then people in java ranch told to study from HFSJ. i got the book in time and did fast studing. About manning, it is a good book but just that book will not help you clear the exam. it does cover all the topics but the way its covered will not help to clear the exam. About HFSJ, this is a real good book, enjoyed reading from it but, he doesnt cover few things. I would suggest read from both books, that will really help.
and again mock exam in HFSJ+20% is true and for me it is HFSJ+27%.
i would suggest take the HFSJ mock exam 2 days before the real exam, then read through all the chapters which you went wrong.
good luck for people who are preparing........

I agree with you on this. Most of us need sometime to do a post mortem

thanks in advance suseela
No i did my programer certification in january. now i did SCWCD. it took me very few days to read through all the chapters, with first reading i got big picture of all of the chapters, then basically i spent more time on each chapter answering mock tests on chapter basis. after doing that i did a mock exam to figure out where i am weak so i could spend more time to understand properly. i think its very important to underatand so you dont have to memorize things.

thanks guys,
prashant, i think this exam is not tough. all you have to do is read through and work out few examples and understand the concepts rather than trying to memorize. once u clear the exam i am sure ur confidance level will be high.
