I go to http://www.javaranch.com and see a Programmer Certification Study thread called "Byte.MAXVALUE" by suresh kamsa, whose link is http://www.coderanch.com/t/238959/java-programmer-SCJP/certification/MAXVALUE But when I go to the link, I see an entirely different thread called "Reserved word and Keywords" by Serena Chen.

Looks like suresh posted that twice - the other was as Topic: "MAX_VALUE", at http://www.coderanch.com/t/238958/java-programmer-SCJP/certification/MAX-VALUE . Noting the change in spelling. I'm guessing (1) suresh posted twice, (2) you saw the active topics list at that instant, (3) suresh deleted the post with the incorrect spelling, (4) Serena posted, takng the now-vacant post number, and (5) you clicked on the active topic link and saw Serena's post. Just a fluke of timing; not a problem, I think. The active links page and forum listings seem normal now.
