how to encode query string.

i have some links in my jsp page with query string, i want to do some kind of basic encoding to name/value parameter to hide from the end user.

for e.g. i have a link like

(i dont want to use post request)

I haven't worked much in web technology. But cant you use any hidden textfields and access it in the next page ?

Hi Hasan, I think you might be on the wrong forum, but if you are looking at cust id and order id, might I suggest using a cookie (whether it be proprietary or or the implicit JSESSIONID) and using a HttpSession object to control order id's (or a cookie for that as well). Just my .02.
