I am preparing for SCWCD exam and planning to give it soon.

Some questions:
1. I have read in the forum about the need to go through specs - does this include specs for all servlet/jsp and jstl? or just servlet is enough?
2. How good are Certgear's mock test exams? How close they are to the real exam?
3. What is the toughness level of EL/Custom tags and tag library questions in the exam?

Thanks.

Hello Kusa,

1. Yes, you should go through the all of the specs (Servlet, JSP and JSTL). I like to call MZ's guide a "cliff's notes" version of the specs. That can be found here scwcd guide.

2. I did not use certgear so I do not know.

3. I got a 100 on "Building JSP Pages Using EL" and "Building a Custom Tag Library" but got a 75 on "Building JSP Pages Using Standard Actions" and a 62 on "Building JSP Pages Using Tag Libraries" but your own experience may differ.

HTH
