Hi,

I have readh Servlet specs once and reading HFSJ. Want to know if it is a must to read JSP specs also to get good score. Somehow I am feeling very bored while reading the JSP spec. Please advise. Doesn anyone have any notes on JSP Specs which I can use intead of going through the boring compelte spec pdf.

Thanks
Radhika

I'm preparing to take the SCWCD (tomorrow!) and I've not read the specs beginning-to-end. I downloaded the servlet, jsp and jstl specs and I'm using them for background information or to clarify or expand upon some things I've read in HFSJ.

I believe that if I know everything in HFSJ cold, I will get a good score on the exam. But the specs are helping me better understand the material and how the different pieces fit together.

For example, HFSJ only briefly mentions dynamic attributes so I used the specs to get more info.

Good luck!

Hi,
me too is facing the same problem , Servlet specs are okay, but jsp specs are too much..
but i am taking an approach whereby i am refering the specs only when need more insight or clarity on a topic, at the same time ensuring i dont miss anything from HFSJ.
