How to pass request time value to jsp:include

I had this question in Whizlab simulator that asked me to choose the valid
way of invoking <jsp:include> standard action.

The simulator chose <jsp:include page="% pageName %" /> while I picked <jsp:include page="<%= pageName >" />.

Can someone explain yhy the former invocation is legal whereas the latter one is invalid?

HFSJ does not have similar example for reference.

Please advice.

I have no Internet access at home; therefore, I won't visit the forum until Monday.

Thanks in advance,

Connie

thanks for the reply.

Will this kind of question appear in the exam?

HFSJ does not have much coverage on JSP XML document.
