Hello Ranchers,

I was just about to start reading the Specifications. But I found that those specifications are too huge to read. Moreover I guess just skimming thru it will not solve any problem. Do you need to go thru each and every topic in it... please suggest...

Formal specifications, while they are the authority, are not the best learning tool. It would be like learning to drive by reading the state's Motor Vehicle Code laws.

I would highly recommend the book "Head First Servlets and JSP" as probably the best starting point. Follow that up with some practice exams and more reading and you should be OK.
