Hi, I'm working on a new web application, and thinking about using CVS. I have some quick questions regarding Rational with CVS that I hope you can answer.

1. I know that Rational is integrated by default(comes w/ Rational package) with ClearCase but do you know if it can be integrated with CVS (i.e. any tool menus appear in Rational for CVS)?

2. Do you see any issues if we use CVS to save java code?

3. And lastly, cvs is free to use in a company right?

Please include any sites that are good to do cvs research on. Thanks so much!

Thanks so much,
Carmen

1. Sorry, I don't use this
2. No issues, as far as I know. Never had any problems with it. Very convenient to use within Eclipse
3. Yes, free to use

By the way, this is not a question related to SCWCD. You should post this kind of question in a different forum next time

Hi Satou, thanks for your reply. I'll post it in another forum next time, my apologies.

Thanks again,
Carmen

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
