Scenario:

Your company decided to cluster your web application. There is one powerful multi-CPU box which can easily host 4 instances of application server, and there are 4 stand-alone boxes, each capable of hosting a single instance of web application with the same level of CPU and memory dedicated to it as in the case of a single powerful server.

Referring to the scenario above, what is the benefit of deploying on 4 single boxes instead of the multi-CPU box?

Choice 1
Your cluster will have fewer database calls.
Choice 2
Your cluster will provide better availability.
Choice 3
You cluster will have smaller log files.
Choice 4
Your cluster will perform better due to more optimal java heap memory management.
Choice 5
Your cluster will start up faster.

Which one is correct?

Thanks
