I've just passed the exam, but the questions appeared to be mach more difficult than I expected, and my score is lower than the marks I used to get.
For preparing I have used the CertGear 1.4 simulator and an old (4.0) Whizlabs. Both of them provide a basic knowledge only! You need much more serious training in order to be confident. For example, the simulator describes a simple use case and asks for a proper design
pattern. The real exam describes a more sophisticated case and asks for a combination of the design patterns. There are questions concerning
servlets interaction, specific configuration cases etc.
The simulators provide the multiple-choice and fill-in-the blanks question. The Sun CX-310-081 exam descriptions sais about "Multiple Choice and Drag and Drop". And it is really so! In several questions you will be asked to combine parts of
jsp elements to get some working fragment of the page.
Good luck!
