I think you are asking whether a tag body in your JSP can be empty even if it was declared in TLD with <body-content>tagdependent</body-content> or <body-content>JSP</body-content>, right ?
The answer is YES, the fact you declared the tag in TLD with body content JSP or tagdependent does not imply it always have to have a body.
On the other hand, if you declare your tag in TLD with <body-content>empty<body-content> you are obligated to use such tag on your JSP with no body. [ September 10, 2006: Message edited by: Edisandro Bessa ]
