Q. Which of the following listners need to be configured in web.xml?

A] HttpSessionBindingListener
B] HttpSessionActivationListener
C] None of the Above.

The Answer given was [C].

But in HFSJ, its clearly mentioned that HttpSessionActivationListener must be declared in DD where as Whizlabs says it need not. Which one is correct?

The answer is correct.

HFSJ is wrong on this. There was a discussion here long time ago.

Hi Kishore,

As per your previous posts I could see you are using the full version of WhizLabs exam simulator. Perhaps my doubt maybe the same doubt of anyone else. Could you please explain :

I also puchased the full WhizLabs version and I'm in doubt how the WhizLabs simulator kit computes the score of the exams ?

I'm in doubt because recently I wrote the Practice Exam #1 and got correct 56 of 69 questions which as per my understanding would give a score of 81%.

However when checking the "Question Wise Exam Report" screen, the score shown is 66%.

I could see that all scores are based on a kind of "Marks" instead of Total Questions vs Correct Questions.

I think it's because drag and drop question in WhizLabs exam can compute more points than simple or multiple choice questions.

I already sent this same doubt to WhizLabs support and I'm waiting for their reply.

Here's a screen shot for your better understanding.

For all Ranchers,

In the real exam, do some questions can compute more points than others.

I mean, supposing I have one drag and drop question with five blank fields and plus five simple choice questions.

And supposing I get all the five simple choices questions correct but I get the drag and drop question wrong.

What would be my score : 83% (Which means 5 of 6 questions)

or 50% which means :

Question #1 - Simple Choice - Correct - One point
Question #2 - Simple Choice - Correct - One point
Question #3 - Simple Choice - Correct - One point
Question #4 - Simple Choice - Correct - One point
Question #5 - Simple Choice - Correct - One point

Question #6 - Drag and Drop - Wrong - Less five points because of five blank fields answered incorrect. It seems that WhizLabs simulator works based on it (Some questions can compute more points than others).

Total possible points : 10
Gained points : 5
Score : 50%

I would really appreciate if you could clarify it for me.

TIA,
Edisandro.

I think that one question is one point. I've never heard of getting more points for particular questions.

Yes.. All questions in Final Exam will carry equal points (one for each one).. and percentage will be calculated by (total correct * 100)/Total questions

May be whizlabs is following different criteria.. which we can ignore

Thanks a lot Satou and Kishore for your prompt replies.

Kishore,
By the way, could you please help me with one more last question ?

It's still regarding WhizLabs Exam Simulation.

When I save a question to bookmark, I noticed many other questions which I did not choose are saved as well. I've already reported that bug to WhizLabs support team and I'm waiting for their reply.

Did you notice that ? If so, how did you work around ?

TIA,
Edisandro Bessa.

Hi Edisandro Bessa,

I haven't used bookmarks feature till now. But I have made few quick tests to find out how it works...

1. If you want to bookmark a question.. you have to click "Bookmark this question" which is on top of every question. Then you have click OK after entering notes.
2. After book marking all the required questions, you have to click "save bookmarks" button which is at bottom right corner to save all the unsaved bookmarks..

The question about listeners has been asked so often, that I've decided to add an entry in nthe FAQ :
