Hi Ranchers,

First of all.. I like to thank you all for helping me making this possible... Thanks Everyone..

I had no Job Experience in Servlets/JSPs but used Servlets in my project during graduation.. (coded even JSPs.. but they were just Servlets in JSP form )

And regarding my preparation.. I have read

1. HFSJ (don't forget Errata)
2. Mikalai Zaikin's Study Guide

Didn't get time to read specs I might have scored more if I did

HFSJ is my main source.. (Thanks Bryan Basham, Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates for this wonderful book).. I read it once (It took around 1 month 15 days with busy office schedule).. then revised it in two days..

Then for two days (yesterday and day before yesterday), took the Whizlabs mock exams.. and then took HFSJ mock exam ..

My scores in mocks:

Whizlabs Diagnostic Exam: 75%
Whizlabs Practice Exam 1: 75%
Whizlabs Practice Exam 2: 78%
Whizlabs Practice Exam 3: 76%
Whizlabs Final Exam: 84%

HFSJ Mock Exam: 72%

I have read Mikalai Zaikin's Study Guide while taking mock exams.. Its good.. Thanks Mikalai Zaikin for sharing it.

Final Conclusion: If you can read/learn/understand each and every line in HFSJ then you can easily score 90% in main exam and Reading/Learning/Understanding will become easy if you do Practice

Once Again.. Thanks Everyone.. Now I have to start searching for my dream Job (Java Web Developer).. (FYI: Currently I'm working as Perl Programmer)

Wow ! That's an awesome score !

Counting you have no previous professional experience with servlets, JSPs ... it's a very well done job !

My congratulations Kishore ! It's time to celebrate.

By the way,
I'm also taking the WhizLabs exams and my scores are very close to yours if I consider the following formula. Score = Total Correct Questions * 100 / 69

Could you please tell us how are your WhizLabs' scores posted above based on ?

Are your WhizLabs' scores based on Correct Questions * 100 / 69 ?
Or are your WhizLabs' scores based on Marks ?

I wish you all the best.

Whizlabs is not correctly reporting the percentages (its giving more marks to drag and drop questions but in real exam all questions carry equal marks).. So, do use the formula Score = Total Correct Questions * 100 / 69 to calculate your scores

Since whizlabs is reporting wrong numbers.. I have manually calcuated the percentages (in performance history we can get count of correct questions)

All the best

No no, no special meaning. It's a joke about programming in Perl, and not in Java
