passed SCWCD with 78%

Hi all,

I have cleared SCWCD with 78% on 18th october. Thanks to javaranch and its members.

I have some experience in jsps and servlets but really never used EL tags and custom tags. As per real exam is considered i feel its really tough.

I followed two books
1)HFSJ
2)SCWCD study kit.

I didnt go through specs at all.

HFSJ alone is not enough particularly in EL tags and taglibs but for rest of the topics its quite good mainly for questions after every topic and the mock exam. i have studied scwcd study kit in last two days, but it was very useful.

my suggestion is that dont think that exam will be simple, i feel there is a lot of difference in taking SCJP and scwcd. SCJP was more simpler and predictable.

I never got more than 80% of any mock tests. and as per HFSJ mock test is considered i got only 47%. so it was +31% for me.
