problem with jstl

Hi,
This is my jsp file.

<%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core" prefix="c"%>

<html>
<body>
The Name is Mr. <c ut value="${Name}" sescapeXml="true" default="Azhar" />

</body>
<html>

and i have the jstl.jar inside the lib . but when i access the jsp it throes the following exception.

org.apache.jasper.JasperException: The absolute uri: http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core cannot be resolved in either web.xml or the jar files deployed with this application

what is the error.

do you also have the standard.jar inside your lib directory?

Have you used
<taglib>
<taglib-uri>http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core</taglib-uri>;
<taglib-location>/WEB-INF/tld/core.tld</taglib-location>
</taglib>
in your web.xml?

No i don't have the standard.jar inside the lib.

chetan,
even after after i put the uri mapping in DD it now shows the following exception.

File "/WEB-INF/tld/core.tld" not found
