Where can i find the latest version of servlet.jar which has SimpleTagSupport class???

it must come alongwith, when you download tomcat

I have Tomcat4.0. Can you give the link from where I can download the latest jar.

I don't think that you should use another version than the one packaged with Tomcat. For example, if you want to use Servlets 2.4, download the latest version of Tomcat, not servlet.jar only.

To get SimpleTagSupport you need another jar file, jsp-api.jar
It is also contained in Tomcat's common/lib directory.
