Hi All,

As an deployment descriptor is an XML file so ordering is important. Where can we find the correct ordering of web.xml. Does the exam contains the questions of ordering related issues in web.xml?? Already passed Ranchers please throw some light on this.

Thanks in advance,
Cheers!!!

you are correct, 2.4 use XSD instead DTD. I checked now, elements are not inside <xsd:sequence>.means ordering is not required starting from 2.4 spec.

Thanks all for the reply. I am relieved that the ordering is not important. I saw a question regarding the ordering of elements that's why worried...may be it was from the old specs....

The JavaRanch mock exam is based on the previous version of SCWCD and so it does contain a single question on the ordering. As everyone has said, the ordering is no longer on the real exam.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
