Yesterday i passed the SCWCD. I have a little bit disappointment about the score that i didn't get above 80%.
I got question from some areas that both my study merials are not covering like declaring variables in DD and accessing it in Tag Handlers.
My advice to rachers is study every parts well. I got a lots of questions from some parts that we normaly think not importent. Study Session management in Distributed environment.

My special thanks to :-

1) Bert Bates, Kathey Sierra and Bryan Basham for their beautiful book Head First Servlet & JSP
2) Hanumant Deshmukh, Jignesh Malavia and Matthew Scarpino for their excellent book SCWCD EXAM STUDY KIT SECOND EDITION
3) Java Ranch web site and fellow ranchers.(Sayak, gowher, siddarth,Niranjan,Renu Radhika ....)
4) sites like j2eecertificate,examulator etc.

Preparation

I don't have any previous experiance about Servlet's and JSP.
I took 2 months for the preparation.
Because of the inavailability of the book HFSJ in cochin, i started studying with Hanumant Deshmukh's SCWCD EXAM STUDY KIT . Red the book twice.
Finally after one month i got HFSJ from cochin itself.
I read that book only once. some chapter i read twice.
I never buy any exam simulators. I did only free mocks from some sites (JDiscuss,examulator,j2eecertificate)
I got 64% only in the final mock examination of HFSJ.

What's next

I think to go for SCBCD.
I need some advice from experts.

Congratz man!!! Don't be disappointed....the score is decent enough....and don't forget it's about being a Sun Certified Web Component Developer than getting some high percentages.....and you're already one now....so cheer up

So I guess it's party time now huh
