This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
I have begun frequenting the ranch more often now that I am closer to writing the exam. I have less than a month to complete the exam as I will be leaving for Italy for an extended period of time.
I too have the HF book and have read it twice already in the past year (had a delay in my preperation - reason for Italy). It is a great resource. I have also read Charles Lyons text and created my notes from it. However, I have decided to go back and reread chptr 8, 9 and 10 from HF before I began writing mock exams.
With that I will do my best to be an active member of this forum as I have already found it to be an excellent resource.
Welcome aboard, Kevin. Rule #1 around here is Be Nice, so it's a safe place to get involved even if you aren't a know-it-all yet. We're looking forward to seeing you around, helping people with their questions and posting a few of your own.
