Why is that in a hand-coded servlet, the code following a RequestDispatcher.forward() method would still be executed (if we wanted it to be). But for a container generated servlet (or jsp-servlet): The corresponding servlet code is generated by the JSP container, as we well know

Why is it different for a container generated servlet?? Too much confusion in grasping a simple concept...
