Who can tell some details about session attribute serialization: Serializable interface and writeObject/readObject methods in session migration.

I would suggest you to go through HeadFirst JAVA & there is another certification book i.e.Java 2 certification by Simon Roberts & Phillip Heller.If you are not satisfied with them then I would suggest you to go through core java book by Herbert Shieldt.

What details you are looking for ? If you have the book HFSJ, please read page 258.

If the attributes implement serializable interface you need to worry about the attributes when session migrates in a clustered environment.

But for any reason if your attributes are not serializable, your attribute class has to implement HttpSessionActivationListener.
